Where is Talking Planet based?

Talking Planet is a not-for-profit company registered in Wales, United Kingdom. We have our creative studio on the beautiful west coast of Scotland.

Will there be more episodes?

Yes! We'll regularly be uploading more content to our Library.

Can I use a different alphabet for my translations?

Yes. If you find that your alphabet is not accepted, please let us know via the pink Chat icon and we'll see what we can do to help.

How many versions can I make?

As many as you like! Remember that your new translations will overwrite your old ones, so make sure you download anything you want to keep before you start a new project.

Do you share my videos?

No. We do not keep copies of your videos and we do not share them.

Can I share my videos online?

Yes absolutely!

Do I need to know all the vocabulary?

No, just complete what you can. If you learn the vocabulary later, you can always come back and add it, then re-export the episode.

Can I access previous versions of my translations?

No. If you rerecord a line, you will overwrite the previous version.

My audio sounds bad. How can I improve it?

Sit somewhere quiet with no ambient noise such as air conditioning, fans, traffic etc. Soft furnishings help reduce echo. Speak slowly and clearly towards the microphone.
